Born 2/22/17. Very small stature, wide. Official height 25″ at 3 years old. Juno has been retained with high hopes of excellent milk production. She is a very level, wide girl with a delicate Roman nose and nice ears.  She has a gentle, sweet nature and kidded June 2018 with a very petite boy and girl. She freshened in 2019 with twin bucklings by Duke. Juno has distinguished herself by placing first in her age group and doing well among the champion line-up in our 2019 Mile High Mini Milkers Show. Furthermore, her buckling Severus won Junior Reserve Champion Buck in both rings! Juno was bred to Hocus Pocus for Feb 2021 doe twins. At 36 days fresh, Juno earned her star by producing 9.4 lbs of milk and scoring 89 point on her 1-day milk test.Star Certificate Juno .After weaning her 2020 litter, she is available in milk.

Juno’s Pros and Cons

Pros:

Size and structure: To me, Juno is the perfect blend of petite-ness and hardiness. She is flat-boned and dairy, but very sturdy. Really nice width, levelness and depth.

Udder: Very snugly attached with a nice texture and orifice size. This 3F udder of hers has really impressed me.

Milk Production: 9.4lbs is absolutely fantastic for most goats, let alone a 25″ mini breed.

Easy kidder, good mom

General Health: Juno just doesn’t get health problems. She’s a truly easy keeper. Even her feet are easy.

Milk stand trained.

Cons:

Bossy. Not with people (although she isn’t shy about telling you if she’s upset).

Ear length and control

Teat size and placement could be improved.

Praise for Juno in the 2018 TMGR Caprine Conformation Clinic:

An immature, yearling milker, but very correct in her shoulder assembly with her front legs directly under her withers. Nice depth of body….She has nice length of loin, and depth of barrel…..

She has a wide rear udder…. She has nice width to her muzzle and chest floor….
