Dam: Green Gables SOF Lovely Lady 3*P (VCH Green Gables Spice of Freedom +B x Green Gables MB Lovely Luna 2*P)

Born 4/19/19, official height 22″ at 12 months. This beautiful boy brings milk, milk, milk, fantastic udder attachments and classic Green Gables good looks to our farm. Here’s what his breeder has to say about his litter:  “Father/daughter linebreeding, solidifying MILK, udders, teat placement, udder attachments & breed character. Dam was our highest total volume producer last year. Bucklings will have *B” It’s worth noting that that the buck he is linebred on is a finished virtual champion with a +B. In addition to all that, Atlas has large, bell-shaped ears and a nice roman nose. He will surely improve on any doe we breed him to. During his tenure here, Atlas has been bred to many does and consistently produces well-balanced and friendly kids. Atlas competed in our 2021 Mile High Mini Milkers Show, and placed well. In a class of 8 bucks, he placed 3rd in Ring 1 and 5th in Ring 2. Both judges praised him for his general appearance and balance. His daughter, SizeMatter’s GGA Salem took Grand Champion Jr Doe in Ring 2.

Pattern/markings: brown bezoar, moderate roaning, moonspots, white on poll and left side, frosted ears and nose.

Praise for Atlas at the 2020 TMGR Caprine Conformation Clinic:

Very correct balance and symmetry with this buck. Very correct in his front end assembly particularly the uphill stature and width from top of shoulder to the bottom when viewed from the front. Also over the top he has the most correct spring and fullness to the fore rib and crops….He is a pretty balanced buck with strength of bone and dairy strength, with correct feet and pasterns. I would probably want to use him on a doe who needs a bit more bone, but who has exceptional breed character.

Praise for Atlas at the 2019 TMGR Caprine Conformation Clinic:

This long-boned junior buck exhibits general openness and a clean bone structure. He has a long, lean neck and prominent withers above shoulder blades, and points of shoulder and elbow set tightly against the chest wall. When viewed from the side and rear, good spring of rib that increases into the flank is evident. When viewed from the side and rear, his toes point forward and are commendably tight. When viewed from the rear, he has a high escutcheon with thighs free of excess fleshing.
