Jackie’s second-freshening udder

Blackberry’s Jackie (F3, 70.05%/29.95%)

Sire: Paradise Hollister (Paradise Zeus x Paradise Shiona)

Dam: Fertile Earth Ivy (Blue Oak’s Legend’s Begin x Blue Oak’s Compass Rose)

MDGA Experimental (she’s a hair over 70% Nubian)

TMGR American

Born 2/16/15, wide build, medium height. Jackie is a 2.5 year old doe who comes to us from Green Eggers Farm in California. Noriko (Opus 7 Farms)  and her friend, Karen, made an epic road trip complete with a cargo van and a falcon(!) to bring back 4 from this herd. We are very happy to have Jackie here to help improve our herd. She is a beautiful, powerful doe with gorgeous breed character and wide, bell-shaped ears. She has a capacious udder with large teats and orifices. Her skin and udder texture are soft and buttery. Her first two kiddings were triplet litters, and her 2019 kidding produced healthy quads! She will be bred to (probably) NightHawk for 2020 kids, and should earn her milk star in 2020.

UPDATE: Sadly Jackie died in the summer of 2020 after a swift and intense case of rumen acidosis. She will be greatly missed.

Kidding History:

2016: Two doelings, 1 buckling

2017: Triplet bucklings

2019: 2 bucklings and 2 doelings.  (Quads!) It should be noted that Jackie carried this litter to 152 days and the kids weighed-in between 5lbs, 10oz – 7lbs, 2oz. Well done, Jackie!

2020: Buck/doe twins, easy kidding.
