Goat Trails Pull The Trigger *B (F7, 52.62% Nubian/47.38% Nigerian)
Sire: Goat Trails Winston’s Blue Diamond *B (Goat Trails Winston *B x Goat Trails Ellie-Mae Blue 2*P)
Dam: Goat Trails Honey-Bunny *P (Laz-E-Acres Finley x SonFlower Ranch’s Faith)
UPDATE: Unfortunately, Trigger has developed wry-face. No evidence points to this being genetic, but to be on the safe side, he will be used sparingly for breeding this fall and then wethered. He will be fulfilling his destiny at the Flying Horse Foundation’s farm program for youth.
Born January 31st, 2020; wide, and should be medium-sized. This boy comes to us from Texas after we waited for this breeding for over a year! He is polled with stunning conformation, a broad roman nose and luxurious ears. He already closely resembles his grandsire, Goat Trail’s Winston, and inherits heavy milking genes from both parents. His dam has a soft, socked on udder with long teats and large orifices.
Pattern/Markings: Brown bezoar, partial belt, white on poll and throat, frosted ears and nose, moderate roaning.
Praise for Trigger at the TMGR Conformation Clinic
Evaluator comments: Very correct side profile on this buck kid. Very correct shoulder assembly in the angle of the shoulder blade and the placement of the foreleg under the wither…..He has a very correct body shape when viewed from the side showing increasing depth to the flank and when viewed over the top has adequate spring and wedge shape. Nice clean long neck indicating nice dairy strength. Very exceptional ear on this buck….Nice substance of bone in the legs and nice balance of length of bone. In back and rump he is very correct….He appears to be a well balanced individual, and could be used on many different types of does.
