TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:

Purchase Price: $1000 total, $500 deposit due now, $500 due on or before Oct 3rd, 2022 if and only if the pup is found to be sound for breeding. Purchase price is $500 total if the pup is found to have poor hips, elbows/patellas and/or hernias. If congenital cardiac issues are found within the first 14 days, this pup may be returned for a full refund.

Possession Date Window: Aug 3, 2022 - Sept 3, 2022. This date is flexible as long as there is a good faith effort to attempt to meet the deadline, and maintain communication. Seller can meet the buyer within an hour radius of the seller's farm.

Registration of purchased puppy with the America Karakachan Dog Association has been completed by the seller with the puppy’s temporary name (above). Buyer can contact AKDA to get the name changed in the AKDA database.

Seller guarantees that the puppy being purchased has been vaccinated, microchipped, and wormed as indicated on the accompanying health record. If traveling outside of Colorado, the puppy will also have a health certificate produced by a licensed Veterinarian, which is at the Seller’s expense. If travel outside of Colorado is required for the puppy, it will be arranged by and be at the Buyer’s expense, and must occur on or before __9-3-22__. If the Buyer resides in Colorado, the puppy will be picked up no later than when it turns 16 weeks old, but special circumstances can be arranged between Buyer and Seller (subject to possible fees).

Buyer will have two weeks from date the puppy is picked up, to take the puppy to their own licensed Veterinarian for a routine exam. Common puppy issues that may come up will not be covered by Seller’s guarantee. If Buyer’s licensed Veterinarian finds any congenital issues with the puppy, Buyer can return the puppy for a full refund within those first two weeks of ownership. Seller requires proof and documentation from Buyer’s licensed Veterinarian. All Veterinarian bills will be covered by the Buyer. Seller has the right to get a second opinion, at the Seller’s expense.

Once puppy leaves Size Matter's Microranch and is in Buyer’s possession (or Transporter’s), Seller will not be responsible for any environmental or other harm inflicted on the puppy. Buyer agrees to care for the puppy by giving it appropriate shelter, vaccinations, and other routine Veterinarian care, and always making sure the puppy’s overall welfare is top of mind. While it is preferable that the puppy stay with the original Buyer listed on this contract for it’s lifetime, Seller acknowledges that that can’t always be the case. Buyer agrees to never surrender the puppy to a shelter, humane society, or the like. If for any reason Buyer can no longer care for the puppy, Buyer will give Seller the first right of refusal to bring the puppy back to Size Matter's Microranch (no refund will be given in this case). Depending on the circumstances, it may be possible for the Buyer to rehome the puppy on their own. Buyer agrees to notify the Seller first to discuss details, before committing to the puppy’s new home

While it is recommended that this puppy be spayed/neutered when Buyer’s licensed Veterinarian recommends to do so, breeding this puppy will be allowed as long as they are an excellent representation of a Karakachan. Buyer agrees to notify the Seller of breeding intentions, and to find a complimentary mate that is also an excellent representation of Karakachan standards. This dog may also be used in responsible Colorado Mountain Dog breeding programs. Buyer agrees to not breed the dog before they are one year old. Hip x-rays and health DNA panels are recommended before breeding. Buyer agrees not to breed the puppy if they show any signs of human aggression, fear or shyness towards strangers/humans in general, and of course if there are any genetic health issues that arise during the puppy’s lifetime.
